Sleep Number™ Beds

The term "Sleep Number™" is a trademarked term, owned by the Select Comfort™ Corporation. Although some people use the term Number Bed generically to describe all beds that are sold with variable support controls, so as to not confuse the public, the term "Sleep Number™ Beds" is most commonly used to refer to air beds made by the Select Comfort™Corporation.   This is primarily because the creators of the popular Select Comfort™ beds were the ones that originally came up with the term "Sleep Number™ ", which Air Beds Unlimited does not sell or are in any way affiliated.

Obviously Select Comfort™ is the trademark owner of the term Sleep Number™.   However, as the air bed market has grown, other companies have developed innovative, scientific, digital, adjustable comfort controls and air beds.  Now that several other manufacturers have been added to the mix, the competition in the industry is very stiff--which is great for consumers looking for a deal on high quality air mattresses.
